This story is a work-in-progress, and therefore is subject to change.***Aster was born in -3524 DR as the son of King Fenren and Queen Ravariel of Erimiirn (located near the Sword Coast). His father, whom he was always quite close to, passed away from an illness when Aster was 5 years old. Other than that, Aster had a good and uneventful childhood, growing up with his best friend, Callix.***On his 10th birthday, his mother gave him a winter wolf hybrid as a pet. He named the dog Rua, and they became best friends.***At age 14, Aster and Callix began dating. When he was 16, it was in combat training that he cast his first spell. He had prayed to Selûne all his life, and she finally granted him her favor.***When Aster was 17, on Callix's 18th birthday, the two got engaged. It was also that day that Callix became Aster's personal guard and swore his oath.***They announced their engagement when Aster was 24, waiting until they felt ready to take the throne. They were set to marry on the winter solstice when Aster was 26. However, a month before that, disaster struck.There was a magical explosion in the castle, making the castle begin to crumble and the air become thick with a dark, magical fog. Aster's mom didn't survive, crushed under rubble.Callix must've been closer to the origin, because he had a magical infection, some necrotic energy destroying him. He eventually succumbed to his injuries, and no amount of healing Aster could throw at it would make a difference.Syllen, the court oracle and an older brother figure to Aster, took him to the safe room, where he decided that in order to save Aster, the only course of action was to send him to another plane. Aster had no choice, and was sent to the Astral Plane.***He spent about 5 years in the Astral Plane before Elminster (although Aster didn't know who he was at the time) found Aster and told him to try using a color pool to get out. He entered a green color pool, assuming it would take him back to the Prime Material plane, but unfortunately it led to the Feywilds instead.***In the Feywilds, he finds a twisted, ruined, fey equivalent of his castle. He spends another 14 years there before an eladrin he met figures out how to send him back to the Prime Material.***He spends the next two years in Baldur's Gate, learning that although to him it felt like 19 years, it was actually about 5000. He is just about settled in to life in the new time when he gets taken aboard the nautiloid.***At some point in act 1, before the underdark or the mountain pass, but after a lot of other act 1 events, Aster and his party are helped in a fight by a mysterious stranger that turns out to be Callix, except he has no memories, and is undead.***Callix takes half the group through the underdark, while Aster takes the other half through the mountain pass. They meet back up in the shadow-cursed lands.***Throughout the rest of the game, Aster is falling for Gale while also struggling with feelings about Callix's return and, of course, their impending doom.***The following section is what I consider to be the future. It has not happened yet, but it will.***After killing the nether brain, Aster, Callix, Gale, and possibly others from the group if they choose to join, head out on an adventure to free Callix permanently. At this moment, without the protection of the Astral Prism, he is beginning to feel the pull of the person who resurrected him. Aster eventually realizes that this person is Syllen. They kill him, and Callix decides he needs to figure himself out alone, so he leaves.***For the moment, Aster and Gale settle down in Waterdeep. At some point, a tiefling they met in the grove named Kyxire shows up to ask for their help. He wants to explore the planes for research, but he isn't much of a fighter. He remembers all that Aster and his party were able to accomplish, and asks him to accompany him as a guard. He and Gale accept, following him through the planes so he can do his research safely.***After that, it is a long time before Callix returns. He comes back and suggests that they return to Erimiirn and repair it. Aster agrees, and he asks Gale to come with him. They all end up returning to Erimiirn, seeing the lasting destruction, and slowly rebuild the city. Aster takes the throne again, Callix and Aster get married, as well as Aster and Gale, and all three rule together.***Aster has three children, Wyrin Feldrin-Lumienn, Orlan Dekarios-Lumienn, and Corril Feldrin-Lumienn. Wyrin, the oldest and only girl, has Aster's eyes and Callix's hair. Orlan, the middle child, has Gale's brown hair, but Aster's blue highlights, as well as Aster's eyes. Corril, the youngest, has a mix of Aster and Callix's hair, his highlights coming out purple, and Callix's eyes.

His father served as the King's military advisor, and commanded the guard. His mother was a stay-at-home mom, and a baker in her free time.***When Callix was 6, his twin brothers, Dorran and Farren were born. When he was 11, his baby sister Valyra was born.***At age 15, Callix asked Aster to date him, which he said yes to. Around this time he also began training with his dad to become a guard one day.***On Callix's 18th birthday, he proposed to Aster. It was also that day that Callix became Aster's personal guard and swore his oath.***They announced their engagement when Callix was 25, waiting until they felt ready to take the throne. They were working on it together for months, and Syllen kept suggesting weirder and darker things to strengthen it.Callix, being younger and unfamiliar with magic, accepted these weird things even though he felt uneasy about them. Eventually, a month before the wedding, it all went wrong.As they were working on the spell, it became volatile and exploded out necrotic energy, striking Callix in the ribs. Quickly, the energy started to spread.The castle began to crumble and the air became thick with a dark, magical fog. Syllen and Callix found Aster's mom crushed under rubble while looking for Aster.Aster saw Callix's injuries and tried to heal him, but it was only delaying the inevitable. He eventually succumbed to his injuries, and no amount of healing Aster could throw at it would make a difference.***The next thing Callix knew was waking up in a tower with no memory of anything prior. A cloaked man told him his name and his mission. He was sent out to kill many people, and would continue to kill whoever this figure wanted for the next 5001 years.***He ends up in Baldur's Gate for a mission when he gets taken aboard the nautiloid.***At some point in act 1, before the underdark or the mountain pass, but after a lot of other act 1 events, Callix comes across a group of adventurers that seem to be struggling in a battle. He helps them, although he's unsure why. His mother worked hard to provide for her son.***When Syllen was 7, he had a vision. He saw the king and queen getting ready for the birth of their child, and he saw an eclipse, and knew the day the baby boy would be born.His mother took him to see the king, and the king assured him that if his vision came true, he'd soon get a job as the court oracle.***When he was 8, the prophecy came true, down to the last detail, so he was swiftly hired, and he and his mother moved into a separate wing of the castle.***As he grew up, he was a bit like an older brother to Aster. But all the praise due to his talent at such a young age went to his head. He began to get a bit of an ego, thinking he was better than everyone else.***When Aster cast his first spell, Syllen got jealous. Sure, Aster wasn't as strong as Syllen, but he was given magic by the gods. Syllen hated the thought that one day Aster may be stronger than him.He began looking into darker magic, specifically necromancy, as divination came far too easy to him to provide an appropriate challenge. This dark magic began corrupting his mind further.***Callix had approached Syllen wanting help with a surprise for Aster. He knew Syllen was a powerful wizard, and he wanted to cast a protection spell on the kingdom. They were working on it together for months, and Syllen kept suggesting weirder and darker things to strengthen it.Callix, being younger and unfamiliar with magic, accepted these weird things even though he felt uneasy about them. He never realized that Syllen had nefarious intentions, planning to gain power for himself. Eventually, a month before the wedding, it all went "wrong".As they were working on the spell, it became volatile and exploded out necrotic energy, striking Callix in the ribs. Quickly, the energy started to spread. Exactly like Syllen planned.The castle began to crumble and the air became thick with a dark, magical fog. Except, the fog was an illusion cast by Syllen in order to make the situation seem more dire. He and Callix found Aster's mom crushed under rubble while looking for Aster.Aster saw Callix's injuries and tried to heal him, but it was only delaying the inevitable. He eventually succumbed to his injuries, and no amount of healing Aster could throw at it would make a difference. Syllen knew that.He sent Aster to the Astral Plane instead of just killing him because, well, he was too arrogant to see that backfiring. He thought Aster wouldn't make it out.***He revived Callix with powerful magic that, instead of making him back to normal or turning him into a zombie or something of the like, turned him into a reborn. He was easy to manipulate as he had no memories, and Syllen always had magic on his side.He orders Callix around, sending him to kill people, fetch things, and any other task he doesn't want to do. His quest for power leads him down a dark path, leading him to become a lich.***Eventually he sends Callix to Baldur's Gate for a mission, and then doesn't feel anything from their magical connection for a while. When he finally does, it's different. He knows Callix is coming back stronger, and with help.***The following section is what I consider to be the future. It has not happened yet, but it will.***He finds that the help Callix brought is Aster and some random wizard. His worst fear comes true when Aster proves more powerful than him despite everything, and Syllen falls at his hand.

This story is a work-in-progress, and therefore is subject to change.***Kyxire was born in 1472 DR as the son of Arkrai and Zekaria in Elturel. His parents were great parents and provided for him as well as they could.***He was an odd child, very curious to the point that most adults could no longer answer his questions. He also wasn't very social, preferring to sit by himself and read or ask an adult questions. He also began studying magic at a young age.***As he got older, he grew fascinated with the way the universe worked. The many different planes, the creatures that were native to each, the gods that influenced them, everything.***He found that, unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of information on the planes out there. So, he decided he would write his own book about it. First he studied every source he could find and compiled them into one book. Then he found the information to be lacking, so he'd have to find it some other way.***Then, Elturel fell, and the tieflings were unfairly blamed and kicked out. At age 20, Kyxire joined the other tiefling refugees in the grove. That's where he met Aster, a friend and a strong cleric.***They met again in the Last Light Inn, Kyxire staying with the other tieflings, and then once more in Baldur's Gate. More specifically, in Sorcerous Sundries, where he was searching for more books on planar travel.***The following section is what I consider to be the future. It has not happened yet, but it will.***Some time after the nether brain was defeated, he went to find Aster in Waterdeep, having learned the plane shift spell and needing an escort between the planes, since he knew very few offensive spells.***Aster and Gale help him through all the planes over the course of a few months, and then he spends a long time writing his first book. "A Comprehensive Guide to the Planes"***He writes more books, going to similar lengths of research, including "A Comprehensive Guide to Dieties and Higher Powers" and "A Comprehensive Guide to Living Beings". He dedicates his life to solving the mysteries of how the world works, and sharing it with others.

At some point before this, Syllen becomes a lich. Aster escapes the Feywilds with help from an eladrin he met there, and finds himself in Baldur's Gate.

Elturel falls into the hells, leading to the tieflings being kicked out. Many people are abducted by illithids and given enhanced tadpoles. Aster and Callix are among them. The events of Baldur's Gate occur. Aster, Callix, and Gale go to free Callix from his master. They discover and kill Syllen. Callix leaves, needing time to himself.***1493 DR
Aster and Gale live in Waterdeep when Kyxire asks them for help with his research. This takes them a few months.***1499 DR
Kyxire publishes his first book about the planes.***1520 DR
Callix returns, and he, Aster, and Gale return to Erimiirn with intent to restore it.***Uncertain Dates
